Heltzel elected as President of VA. Mortgage Lenders Association

ROB HELTZEL ELECTED PRESIDENT OF VIRGINIA MORTGAGE LENDERS ASSOCIATION FOR 2012
MANASSAS, Va. (November 15, 2011) – Rob Heltzel, president of Heltzel Mortgage, has been elected President of the Virginia Mortgage Lenders Association (VMLA) for 2012. The VMLA consists of more than 700 members, representing 62 companies operating throughout the state of Virginia.
Heltzel has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. He began his career in 1981 with Heltzel Mortgage Corporation, a family-owned mortgage banking firm founded in 1965. He then served as CEO/President of Heltzel-Synergy One Mortgage in Manassas from 2001 through 2009 and joined Village Bank Mortgage Corporation in 2010. In addition to originating residential mortgages, he is also an approved FHA and VA underwriter. He is a past president and board member of SERVE, Inc., The Kiwanis Club of Bull Run and the Manassas Housing Trust Fund. Heltzel is a 1981 graduate of Randolph-Macon College with a degree in Economics. He and his wife Lisa are Manassas residents.
